| Wow, i haven't been to my Xanga page in the longest time. I still do not know what to write about. Maybe a little update from what i've been up to these past few weeks since my summer school session ended.
First my cousins from Sweden are over, AGAIN! Haha... they come over every summer for a month to visit and to have a little fun. I was extremely busy up to the day that they arrived at Pearson's Airport, busy with preparing and organizing the home for them to stay. I enjoy it when they come over but sometimes the little ones can be a little too bossy and always have to get what they want! Haha.. i guess i'll get over that, all kids are bossy and wants everything.
Secondly, i haven't really been happy these days although my relatives are over. Sigh... little things seem to bug me alot these days, especially this past week. No matter what i try to say, try to express my feelings it never seems to work. I have noticed alot of changes in the closest people around me, i try to let them know of what is going on, what is happening, people always think im trying to create some sort of argument or trying to ruin things. Knowing myself, i do not try to ruin other's lives or even try to create an argument. The only reason why i bring up things is because they bother me and i feel that the closest person around me should know about it. No matter what i try to say or even attempt to express my opinion, people don't bother listening to the words, all they think about is how mean and cruel i am to them. Whatever i try to do, it always seem to be wrong in the eye of the other person. Now i've told myself that maybe i should just go on everyday without bothering with problems that come across me. I'll just try to not notice them and pretend that they are not there. No point in me to try to tell others what i feel when they don't take it into consideration.... Sigh, maybe that will work better, who knows.
Lastly, my first friend from HK have went back this morning because she has finished up her 4 year schooling at UWO. Im truly gonna miss her, although we only started hanging out near the end of school term, we hung out so many times while i was still in school for the summer session. And it was all good times whenever we hung out. If i was sad and down, she would try to cheer me up and help me get through it. Sigh... i told her that i will go and visit her when im done my schooling the coming spring. So i have to start saving up my money if i want to go to HK to visit her and another friend. HK, next summer here i come!!
Yup, so in three short paragraphs, that is what i have been up to these past few weeks. Anything new and drastic, i'll post up, if i remember that is... lol

| New Car added to the Family - Crossfire Roadster!!
Omg i cannot believe what i saw today when i reached home from a long drive from London. Wow! It was sitting right there in my garage. It was the exact same one that test drive a few weeks ago. Fully loaded with leather seats and best of all 6-speed tansmission!!!! When i first saw it i thought it was probably an automatic Roadster but then looking closely at the inside, i saw the hand-brake up and saw the shift-knob. I was already amazed at the fact that my dad have decided to get the car but what made it even better was how it was a standard car instead of an automatic!
I will have pictures up soon!!!

| 2005 Crossfire Roadster or Not?

Yesterday during my exam my dad called me but i was not home to pick up the phone. Knowing my dad it had to be an urgent message for me. But by the time that i got home from school, it was already late at nite, so i decide to call the next day to see what my dad wanted. So today when i woke up, first thing on my mind was to call my dad at work to see what he wanted to talk to me about. He wanted to ask what i think about getting the NEW 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster!!!! I can't believe he is actually considering it, he actually decided that he wanted it!
It was only 2 weeks ago that i went home to visit my family before finals started. That day upon arriving home, my mom asked my to go drive the family cars to the dealership to get an oil change and do some tune-ups, so i was fine with that. When i got to the dealership, i decided to go browse around in the showroom. While i was looking at cars, on of the sales representatives that mainly deals with my family recognized me and called me over. He told me that my dad was considering a new car again! I was like "whaaattt?", then he told me that my dad was considering of buying the 2005 Crossfire Roadster. Then after hearing the name of the car i was like "WHAAAAAA" i can't believe it and i didn't believe it because my family already have enough cars, actually too many.
I got to test drive the car too, convertable, 6-speed transmission!! I've always wanted to drive a 6-speed car to see the difference from the 5-speed and because sometimes i keep forgetting that my car does not have 6-speed. So i got to take home the car all and drove it to pick up my siblings from school then took it grocery shopping then finally took it back to the dealership. It was a pretty nice, fast, smooth, and comfortable car. I really liked it but i dont know if i really want it because we already have enough cars at home and besides its only a 2 seater car, it can be inconvenient sometimes.
So after talking to my dad on the phone today, he told me that i have to decide and what i think he should do. So now its up to me to think about it and make a decision quick because he really wants to get it but im not too sure yet. *sigh* What should i do?!?!!
I will have to think about it. Cheers! | | |
| White Castle experience, never again...!

Yesterday, as soon as the weather cleared up a bunch of us spontaneously decided to drive down through Windsor, cross the Canadian/US borders to go to Detroit looking for the famous White Castle. Yes! Thats what we all did, it was a hell of an experience.
First of all, we came from London Ont. and the drive was almost 2 hours long! When we finally reached the customs borders we were pulled in by the customs guards in Detroit!! Why?! I have no idea why, basically they did not believe us when we told them that we were going over to Detroit to find a White Castle for dinner. So what they did was, they made us get out of my car, raided our belongings and everything in my car! They even checked how much money we had on us (that's insane)! They probably wondered why 5 Asian students with over $400.00 are crossing the border and what are they planning to do?! Well i guess sometimes telling the truth doesn't always work. Of course we were able to leave immediately and continue our search for White Castle.
Second, we have never in our life seen such a rundown area as Detroit. Never in my entire life i've seen anything like the city. Never again i am going to complain about the roads in London, especially after seeing Detroit's. Roads were filled with potholes (i was afraid that my rims and tires would be destroyed after leaving that place), every store you see is either boarded up and out of business or still running with steel bars all around the windows and doors. Even the church had steel bars all around it! We were actually afraid of stopping our car at every street light that we stopped at. We literally watched our backs and around our car everytime we had to make a stop at a street light! No other places can be compared to this part of town in Detroit. Not even EOA in London can, Jane & Finch area can't, even the most rundown areas in Scarborough can't either! That was how messed up the area was!

Third, to find the right White Castle with a seating area, we had to pass by 3 other White Castles (those only had drive thrus) and guess where the only seating White Castle was located?! Yes thats right, on 8 Mile Rd, right on 8 Mile Rd. Omg! 8 Mile ?? We had to go to 8 Mile area to a White Castle with seatings. But i guess it was not THAT bad, White Castle did not have any steel bars all around (lol), i guess the only one that didn't! When we got there, we were able to order and dine in. The burgers were pretty small, just like in the movie but tell you the truth, the burgers were not as good as other fast food places. But we all walked out with over 100 burgers! Thats right over 100 burgers to split between all 5 of us, never in my life i've odered that many burgers or have seen that many!!

Fourth, leaving White Castle, we stopped for gas at a local gas station. Getting gas was the high light of the day i have to say. That was because gas in the States is so damn cheap! We only had to pay about $24 Cnd to get a full tank of gas! Whoo hoo, haven't seen gas that cheap since 5 years ago. But yeah as we were leaving and going through customs again we were again stopped and pulled over by the customs guards on the Canadian border. Rrrr! I thought that being Canadian and having a Canadian license plate with everything they would let us by, but no! We were questioned and yes they did raid our car again but this time it was much quicker than crossing to Detroit. The funniest thing was, i wonder what happened when the guards opened up the trunk of the car and saw over 100 burgers?! Haha, they must have laughed so hard and thought that throughout our life we have never seen or eaten any burgers before. Oh well, like i said its only a one time experience. Never again shall i cross the borders just to go look for a White Castle, unless im on vacation and happen to see one. But you know what im trying to say. Never ever doing that again.

But overall, it was fun going with the guys (my bf, 3 other friends and me) and a hell of an experience! I will never forget this, i don't think i will. Cheers!
